NYC at Christmas Time
We took a quick one day trip up to New York this weekend.
We went to the Temple.
We ate at the Shake Shack.
We saw the Christmas lights.
We almost got trampled in a mass of people of fifth avenue.
We went to Macy's.
We ate delicious greek food with one of Joseph's friends in the law firm.
It was a really fun, jam packed day.
It made me excited to me living in NYC next year.

I turned 26
I honestly can not believe that I turned 26. I guess that is what I get for making fun of Joseph for being 26 for the past 10 months. It feels old, and I don't feel prepared enough to be this old.
This year for my birthday Joseph surprised me with a birthday breakfast complete with waffles, homemade whipped cream and berries. He also let me open all of my presents in the morning before work! It was a great start to the day.

The setup
Homemade whipped cream
Joseph had gotten several watches for me because he couldn't decide which one I would like the best. I only kept one, the rest were returned. It was really funny when I was opening them.
The presents aftermath
We kept celebrating my birthday all weekend long with chick flicks (and no complaining or mocking), a tasty brunch, naps and me wearing sweats most of the time I was home.
It was a great birthday.
I still haven't settled into being 26. Maybe this is when the denial about one's age begins.
Brothers in Philadelphia
When my grandma passed away the funeral was going to be held in Delaware, so the most convenient airport for my brothers to fly into was Philadelphia. It was fun having them here even though it was only for a few days.
We love having visitors.
When my brother Chris as here I took him on a little tour of the city. We went to the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall. It was freezing that day so we went into the Mint, which was not nearly as cool as I had hoped. I mean come on it is where they make the coins.
Chris flew out before my brother Michael so we took him to one of our favorite places to eat in China town. The food is tasty and cheap, and you can watch the people in the back make your noodles.
