The weather in Philadelphia has been incredibly nice this year. I realized the other day that this must be what winter is like for people who don't hate the winter. They have nice, mild winters. This year we haven't even had any snow accumulation. It has been glorious.
However, two weekends ago my parents came up to visit and we had the worst weather we have had all winter. On the one day they were here.
We went to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which is an awesome place. They had an ancient Hindu temple build right into one of the rooms in the museum. They also have a wing of the museum where every room was an installation from old European mansions. Amazing. They also had cool suits of armor from back in the day.
Dad beelined for the guns. Typical.
After the museum we went to Reading Terminal Market to walk around.
Then, for dinner we went to one of our favorite restaurants, Han Dynasty. It is delicious. Afterwards, Joseph said we should only go out to eat there for the rest of the time we are in Philadelphia, because he is going to miss it so much.
It was a fun weekend.
