Baltimore Marathon
We ran, we struggled, we kept on pushing, it hurt, we finished.
It hurt bad.
More than I had naively imagined.
And while our time might not be that impressive, we finished and we finished together.
So I am proud of that.

Hopefully this weather holds up. A marathon with a high of 67 sounds just about perfect to me.
Now hopefully my IT band will work itself out and stop causing me pain.
I don't need any additional pain, than what I will already experience from running 26.2 miles.
Prayers are always welcome.

Marathon Training - Week 14
Today I realized that we have been training for 14 weeks. That is over three months. I am proud of us. Now running has started to consume my life, I live and die by my training schedule, and I actually am really enjoying myself. I am not sure that Joseph is still enjoying himself, but I am sure he will come around.
Monday -P90X CardioX
Tuesday - Five miles, the middle three miles were super fast
Wednesday - Nine miles, all before work. When we started running it was still completely dark out. When we were in the elevator getting ready to start our run, me sort of happy, Joseph looking angry (because it was early and he didn't have class today), looks at me and says "I hate you" haha it made me laugh, because I usually hate all people that try to interfere with my sleep. But like I said, we have a training schedule that can not be denied.
Thursday - 5 slow recovery miles. While running, we are both a little bit sleepy we are talking about how this is a revoery run and Joseph says "How is this a recovery run, if we are running. I think I would recover much better while sleeping." I think he makes a valid argument
Friday -Rest day, very much needed
Saturday - 14 miles, this was an awesome run. It was slightly cold and it just felt great.
