Happy Halloween

We didn't really do that much for Halloween.  My thesis is due in a couple of weeks so I have turned into the most boring person ever.  Joseph said he is waiting for December so he can get his wife back.  Needless to say I haven't had a lot of brain space to think about celebrating halloween.  We didn't even carve pumpkins this year!  I didn't even really realized it until the night of Halloween, that is how bad it is around here.

We did go to a Halloween party on Saturday night with some people from church.  Where we made caramel apples, the only festive thing we have done this year.  We went as Occupy Wallstreeters (Philly has an encampment too).  I went super granola, and Joseph went Hipster.  We were too lazy to think of our own costumes so we copied some of our friends.

I got to wear the worlds ugliest pants that I had bought in Australia and can't bring myself to part with.  Even though now looking back I can't believe I bought them.  Joseph almost one upped me by wearing a pair of my old pants that were so tight! It is unfortunate it doesn't really come across in these pictures.

  1. Oh man I just about DIED laughing about the Aussie pants. Why did we all buy them and all still have the hideous things? Seriously this just made my whole week. Love you. Great costumes.

  2. I can't believe half the stuff I bought on that trip. We all just wanted to be hippies. Luckily, I didn't buy any of those dang pants ( I know I wanted to, I think I was low on cash) because I know they would be sitting in the bottom of my closet with all of my Australia t-shirts. Ha Ha!
