Joseph surprised me with a Mother's Day breakfast yesterday and a little present.
I guess we are both excited about Baby Nance, who should be making its debut by the first of November.
It was kind of a strange day for me thinking about the fact that I will soon be an actual mother. I usually don't pay any attention to Mother's Day other than to call my own Mom, but yesterday it had me all excited and a little overwhelmed about what is coming up. It is mostly crazy because I just don't really know what to expect - you know, since I've never done this before.
Anyways, Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful Mothers out there.
Wish us luck - we don't know what we are doing over here!

What the What?? You're having a baby? This is awesome and great news. Now you can be beyond exhausted and a crazy person like me for the rest of your life. haha Good luck. I know you'll be awesome

ReplyDeleteCan't believe I am just now seeing this!!! I am so behind with blogging and every other facet of my life, it's not even funny. (Which, incidentally, pretty much sums up motherhood.) I am so excited for you guys! Hope you're feeling ok and aren't crazy sick or anything lame like that. I'm sure everyone will tell you this, but having kids really is the best. Especially the first time around, when everything is so new and exciting and you can really just focus all your love and attention on that one beautiful, perfect little baby--before you go and have more kids and your life falls apart, you know? Just kidding, but really, this is such a fun, exciting time! Enjoy it all. I can't wait to hear when you find out what you're having!
