These signs appear all around the city in the winter months.
At first I thought they were pretty comical, and they seemed a little bit unnecessary. Until earlier this week. I was walking along and a giant piece of ice came crashing to the ground, shattering into a hundred pieces, out of nowhere, just inches from where I was walking. This piece of ice could have seriously injured me.
But here is the problem, I like to walk close to the buildings for three reasons: 1. It seems less likely that I will get hit by a car. 2. It seems less likely that I will be easily snatched. and 3. It is less windy close to the buildings.
So the answer is do I walk close to the street risking these other problems or close to the buildings risking death by icicle?

hahahaha - close to the buildings for sure.
