A few weeks ago Joseph and I made our first trip to the dentist in an embarrassingly long time. With that being said neither of us had any cavities and the dentist was actually pretty impressed with our teeth.
However, the dentist gave each of us a hard time about never flossing. I really don't like taking tons of time to get ready for bed. When I want to go to sleep, I want to go to sleep.
But, after the interview we felt motivated to start treating our teeth right. I mean we both will be 26 by the end of the year. So part of treating your teeth right according to the dentist is flossing and rinsing with Listerine. Which we have both been doing pretty good at.
Here is my question.
Why does Listerine have to burn so much? Why can't they make a mouthwash that isn't painful to swish around.
Joseph said it has to burn to kill the bacteria. I don't believe this. Toothpaste doesn't burn.
Maybe this is what adulthood is all about. Doing the horrible things like flossing and mouth washing, even though it is horrible.
