NYC - Week 3

I have serious respect for all people who travel every weekend for work.  It is cool but totally lame at the same time.  I am happy I am able to see Joseph on the weekends but feel as if I am constantly packing, unpacking and repacking again.

This weekend I headed up to NYC again for our third weekend in "The City".  Friday my bus was delayed and I ended up leaving Philadelphia an hour late.  Not cool, considering I was dripping sweat standing perfectly still waiting for the bus, and when buses are late people start getting all frantic and crazy which leads to little bit of a mad house.

Despite the record breaking heat we experienced all week, when we woke up Saturday morning it was cool almost to the point of cold and misty/rainy.

We started the morning with a little run and stop to the grocery store.  Then we came home got dressed and headed down to the East Village to meet up with some of our friends for brunch.  We ended up waiting a long time for our table so it really was more like a late lunch but still worth it.  The food was really good, and it was nice to hang out and relax for awhile.  Especially since I didn't really want to walk around very much in the rain.

I took this picture from their website, Clinton Street Baking.
After brunch we weren't really sure what to do since all of our plans for the day were for outside activities, so we just headed back north and ended up the the Natural History Museum.  We walked around for a little bit, it was okay but the one is DC is was better.

At this point it had stopped raining so we walked through Central Park down to Columbus Circle where we hit up some stores for some window (wishful) shopping.  It was starting to get cold so we decided to call it a night and head back to the apartment for some movie watching and lounging.  It was a nice relaxing day.
