This past weekend didn't really involve anything to exciting or noteworthy. But sometimes that is the best kind of weekend. I haven't been able to think about doing anything besides my two 20-30 page term papers that I have due in the next two weeks. One of which is a group project (LAME). So basically I am a joy to be around.
On Saturday we did manage to get out of the house for a little bit. I went for a six mile run, Joseph said that it was to cold (34 degrees) to be running so he opted for a p90x workout. We went to the grocery store, we deep cleaned our apartment. Which since our apartment is tiny really sounds more impressive than it probably is, but that is also one of the many benefits of a small apartment, less to clean, Yes Please.
Then we had planned on going to the cute little french place I had read about online for lunch but by the time we got there (3:30) they had closed. This was a major bummer for two reasons. One, we were starving it was 3:30 after all and two, it was kind of far from our apartment and we didn't really know anything else around where we were. So as we were walking back we had to try and decide if we wanted to stop at any given place that we passed. This is not a good strategy for Joseph and I, it has failed many times in the past. We both just get annoyed.
However, everything turned out okay when we were able to decide on a Korean BBQ place we had heard of before in the past. We both got Korean tacos and an order of dumplings to share. The tacos were so good, they had a really unique flavor and were perfectly spicy. They also gave us a small thing of beans of some sort. You can see them in the dumplings picture. They were tasty but we were confused as to how they fit into the meal.
We ended up getting our food to go since we had wasted a lot of time walking around and we wanted to get back to watch basketball.
