So Joseph is out of town this weekend visiting his brother in Utah/Vegas. In light of this I thought I would take this opportunity to share with you some recent events involving my dear husband.
Story #1:
The other day my alarm clock goes off so I get up to get ready for work, Joseph still in bed and slightly delirious says out of nowhere "I was dreaming about non-dairy cows"
I think we have been watching to much TV.
Story #2:
On Tuesday night, the eve of his departure, I wasn't really in the mood for dinner so I hadn't thought of something ahead of time to make. When dinner time comes around I start looking through the fridge to see what I can find to make for dinner. Joseph is hovering nervously in the background, because let's be honest this approach to dinner has been unsuccessful in the past. I decided on pizza, with caramelized onions, salami, mozzarella and fresh parsley. Joseph who has been anxiously awaiting the decision declares, that he is not sure this is a good idea (he is doubting my abilities). I assure him that it will be delicious. He continues to doubt and hover.
Several minutes later after the pizza has cooked and we have begun to eat I hear these magical little words.
You were right. This is delicious.
Victory.
Happiness.
What's with husbands leaving their wives behind? David is leaving me for 6 days in magical California while I'm stuck in lame Provo/working. Come visit me while Joseph is gone and we can play. I miss you.
