And we are off!

We are sitting in the airport getting ready for the first leg of our trip. We head first to Istanbul. We are both feeling excited but also nervous about this trip. It is a pretty big undertaking, but I know it will be a lot of fun once we get there.

We are going to try and keep the blog updated with the details, so I hope you are all ready for serious picture overload over the next couple of weeks.

Also, I know I have been neglecting the blog lately and a lot has happened in the last six weeks so I will give you the Reader's Digest version.

I went home for the weekend for Fathers Day.

Joseph went to Kansas City for a week to visit his family.

Joseph studied all day every day for the bar, while I banned myself to the
Bedroom to avoid disrupting his studies. You don't want to mess with a dude studying for the bar.

We had a picnic with our friends in Philly to say bye. We are so sad to leave them.

Joseph went to Saratoga Springs to take the bar.

I had my last day of work at my job in Philly.

We spent the next weekend in New York, celebrating the end of the bar.

We got back to Philadelphia on Monday afternoon, and organized our things for the movers

The movers showed up Tuesday morning and had our whole apartment packed in only 2 hours. It was one of the most remarkable things I have ever witnessed.

The movers drove away with all of our belongings. We hung out in our empty apartment for a little bit before leaving Philly for good. We took the Megabus to DC.

It was so sad to drive away from Philly knowing that we didn't live there anymore. We loved it there.

We have spent the last two days getting ready for our trip.

And now we are ready to go.
