Hong Kong - Day 3

Day 3 was a Sunday, and luckily there is a pretty big English speaking branch here that we were able to go to. It lacked some of the unique cultural attributes of Cambodia, but it was still church so it was good. Everyone kept asking us if we were new, and I kind of wished we were new and were staying to work there.

After church we went home for some naps and relaxation, before heading out to Chi Lin nunnery and the Nan Lian Gardens. These seemed like appropriate Sunday activities so off we went. We were too late to go into the actual nunnery but we spent quite a while walking around the grounds and the large park, which was beautiful and immaculately groomed and tended. It was one of the highlights of Hong Kong.

After the gardens we went in search of the Hong Kong Temple. The temple here is really small, but really pretty. I am glad we went to see it.

After the temple we called it a night and went back to the hotel to relax. If you can't tell we are big into the relaxing right now.
