Sunday in Siem Reap

Today we had the chance to go to church. Which was nice, we hadn't had the opportunity to go to since we have been traveling, which is the longest time in a row that I haven't been to church. I was weirdly excited to go, and comforted by the familiarity once we got there. Everyone was very friendly and nice and everything went just as it would anywhere else. I love that.

It was a small branch and luckily the Elders translated to English for us, or we would have had no idea what was going on.

We took a true rest day today, with Sunday naps and everything which was nice.

  1. Megan, I've been silently following your blog for awhile now and I can't believe it's taken me this long to comment. I am completely fascinated with all your world traveling. I am so glad you get to visit Southeast Asia, where my parents are from. It brings back such good memories of when I went out there for the first time a few years ago.

Wasn't the elephant ride incredible? And Angkor Watt just awe inspiring? It makes me so happy to see people, like you and your husband, experiencing what the culture is like out there.

Thanks for sharing your adventures so far! I am loving it!
