Marathon Training - Week 5

Monday -  A sorry attempt at cross training
Tuesday -  3.3
Wednesday - 4.7 (I thought I was running five but I didn't check my route very well)
Thursday - 5.3 miles
Friday - P90X Core Synergistics
Saturday - 10 miles.  We learned some very important lessons on this run.  1. Swedish fish involve way too much chewing to be used for in-run fuel (I couldn't breathe) and they give me an upset stomach.  2. Starting a 10 mile run at 7:30 PM is a bad idea because you are already tired when you start. 3. Ice baths are SO cold, I was shivering, but my legs really did feel better afterwards.

  1. I tried a bunch of stuff when i was doing the triathalon - but these were my fav. You should try them. Much better than the whole gu option. that stuff was always a little hard for me.
