NYC - Week 6 - Saturday Edition

This weekend we made some poor food decisions. It is somewhat of a tragedy when there is so much good food around.

We slept in late and went for a 7 miler, it was hot hot hot.  After recovering we headed down to Midtown.  I wanted to go to Mood, but it was closed.

Then we walked up Sixth Avenue for a bit and found Magnolia Bakery.  This was mistake number 1.  We got a cupcake and a blueberry crisp.  The cupcake was horrible and the blueberry crisp was just mediocre.  We were very disappointed.

Then we went and Joseph showed me his office in New York, that was fun.

The highlight of the day was getting to use our free passes (from the firm) to the MoMA.  So much awesome stuff, loved it.  I would definitely recommend going if you are spending time in NYC and you are into modern art.

By this point we were ready for dinner.  We had been talking about going to the Seinfield restaurant since the beginning of the summer.  It is only 3 blocks from Josephs apartment, so we decided today was the day.  Mistake number 2.  Seriously it was so bad, I can not even tell you.  This was disappointing because we felt like we are here with so many good restaurants all around us and Tom's was not one of them.
